2000 Sauvignon Blanc KlipsunVineyard Columbia Valley
NW Palate Magazine, November/December 2001 - Aromas of herb, cardamom, and vanilla.  Round flavors of ripe melon fruit and faint spice.  Juicy, with a long, persistent fruit finish.  Serve with a leek and goat cheese tart.  Good value

NW Palate Magazine, March/April 2000 - Straw color.  Herbaceous style with a straw/hay aroma.  10% Semillon gives the palate good weight and a long finish, with ample herb flavors.  Pair with onion tart or vegetarian pizza.

Boise Co-Op Wine Word, Spring 2000 - With each sip, this wine just keeps getting better and better.  Nice varietal character, but not overdone, with creamy spice, exceptional fruit, and a round lemony finish.  A good buy...

NW Palate, March/April 2001 - Ruby color.  Lovely combination of flowery boysenberry and blackberry, with subtle oak in the background.  Both the aroma and flavor show hints of well managed oak, and good staying power for the fruit notes.  Moderate tannins.  Try with pork tenderloin, veal chops, or pasta with tomato-based sauce.

Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Richard Kinssie - May 3, 2000 - "Waterbrook Winery, one of the stalwarts of the Walla Walla area, has released its 1998 Melange...the merlot gives the wine its soft and supple mouth with fruity flavors, while the two cabernets contribute structure.  Together they make a delicious, straightforward yet complex wine that is ready to enjoy.
