HISTORY
The Viognier grape was made famous in two northern French Rhone appellations.  Early results indicate that Viognier has adapted well to warmer eastern Washington climates.  Viognier is a fickle grape that takes patience and understanding to cultivate successfully, producing relatively low yields.

TASTING NOTES
Floral notes with ripe peaches.  Seems somewhat sweet but is actually quite dry with juicy pear lingering throughout the finish.

100% Viognier

60% Willard, 40% Ciel du Cheval Vineyard

REVIEWS

1999 Viognier, Columbia ValleyBronze medalist.
Enological Society Annual Judging - August 2000

Rated "90" - 1998 Viognier, Columbia Valley. Ripe and generous, not as exuberant as some Viogniers but nicely tuned to show off its melon, spice, cream and floral flavors and let them linger gently on the finish.  Drink now.
